We are seeking a skilled Garage Door Installer to join our team on a contract basis in Tempe, Arizona. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation of garage doors while providing exceptional customer service and ensuring high-quality workmanship. As a Garage Door Installer, you will play a crucial part in delivering safe and functional garage door solutions to our clients, impacting their satisfaction and trust in our services.

Key Responsibilities

• Install garage doors and operators according to manufacturer specifications.
• Ensure all installations comply with safety standards and local building codes.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients throughout the installation process.
• Diagnose and resolve any installation-related issues, utilizing problem-solving skills.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
• Document installation processes and report any issues or customer feedback to management.
• Collaborate with team members to improve installation techniques and enhance customer satisfaction.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Valid Driver's license.
• Reliable van or truck.
• Tools for the trade or the means to purchase the tools needed.
• Open availability including weekends.
• Pass a background check.
• Commercial garage door experience preferred.
• Proven installation skills, particularly in garage door systems.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail are essential for quality installations.
• Prior experience in installation or a related field is preferred but not strictly required.

This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Pay is per job.
